Keyboard & desktop
The native desktop niceties that make Notulee feel instant.
Notulee is designed to be summoned, used and dismissed without reaching for the mouse. The native desktop app adds a few window behaviours on top of the editor.
Summon from anywhere
A global hotkey toggles the Notulee window from any application:
| Shortcut | Action |
|---|---|
| Ctrl+Alt+N | Show / hide Notulee (global) |
Because it’s global, you can capture a thought mid-task and get back to what you were doing in a couple of keystrokes.
Move through notes
Within the app, page through your notes — including the starter set — without leaving the keyboard:
| Shortcut | Action |
|---|---|
| Ctrl+] | Next note |
| Ctrl+[ | Previous note |
Window behaviours
The desktop shell can pin the window on top while you work in another app, and show or hide on demand for quick capture. Light and dark themes follow your taste — or your system.
The full, up-to-date list of shortcuts lives in the app itself; this page covers the essentials you’ll reach for most.
